Ubuntu is the most popular Linux distribution or distro that people use and love.I am not going to tell you why Linux is better but if you are using Linux then you will know the advantage of Linux.Its free and light and secure, being open source its lots secure than other OS as Window or Mac OS X.Linux have lots of distro and Red hat and Ubuntu is the most common name.Red hat is mainly use in enterprise level and its not free.But for the like us Ubuntu or Mint even fedora is good for daily purpose of use.As I say Linux have many distro and all are not same type as Red Hat type , debian type, open suse etc.Debian type is very popular , Ubuntu , Mint,joli,zorin and my fav BackTrack are Debian type.
